Hearts Converse is a media outlet that creates positive spaces for young adults of color to speak on relationships, life and culture. This is an independent project being funded and produced by Whaley.

In 2012, Whaley began a series called “The Questions” in which she asked six millennials to answer a series of the same questions. The topics ranged from the value of college to judging individuals based on their social media pages. Two years later, she still felt there was a void with authentic storytelling of her generation – particularly those of color – and wanted to use the series to amplify their voices even further. She decided to increase the volume and “The Questions 100” was born. We hope you learn and can relate to the many stories told in the series.
